Impress is an application aimed at automating the email address input process, make it easier. With Impress, retailers or business owners can easily get the email addresses of nearby customers, who pre-set their email addresses through the ImpressForward app they installed.
With a touch screen swipe, a list of nearby Impresss users information will pop out. By identifying him/her through the displayed image and name of the customers choice, current customers email address will be retrieved.
There is no special action from the customer except to identify his/her own information.
Impress can work as an add-on for any iOS Point-Of-Sale (POS) platform, such as Square, Vend, Shopify, Shopkeep, Lighspeed, NCR silver, and etc, or work as an independent app to provide shopper’s email address. Furthermore, ImpressKeyboard works as a convenient and powerful iOS keyboard.
The app is now restricted to users located on US only.
Version 4.1:
In this version, a major feature added is an unique Impress email address per app. Retailers need only send customers e-receipts to this unique email address and they will be forwarded to correct customers found by Impress. This feature makes Impress completely standalone and POS agnostic. Merchants can start to use this app now as long as their POS support email receipt.
